About Me

Hello! My name is Michael Gyorffy. I've been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2007. My clinical experience comes from serving the community in various settings - community-based social services, inpatient psychiatric treatment, and extensively in outpatient mental health. I moved from Kentucky to Colorado in the summer of 2017. In Kentucky I was on faculty with the University of Kentucky's department of Psychiatry, where I was an assistant professor and outpatient mental health therapist. I have seen children and adults in individual and family counseling for multiple years. My main goals are to help clients feel deeply understood, to establish a supportive connection, and to alleviate unwanted difficulties and struggles as much as possible. I hope my extensive experience in mental health will help you feel confident you will obtain the help you need to feel better and find restoration in your life.
